Sherry was referred to me by my wonderful friend Wanda at Wanda's Place Consignment, on Highway 150 in Lexington! Sherry and I connected, made an appointment to meet for drop-off, and we immediately connected!
Like most of the unique and eclectic individuals who walk through the doors of The Funk!, Sherry came in full of spirit and style!
She had quite the collection of treasures, including an abundance of Christmas decor and treasures, which are already going quickly!
From a vintage animated ornament artist Santa to mini sleds to mugs and more!!
Plus, decor and treasures for a variety of seasons and reasons!
As well as a large collection of new and delicately pre-loved Mary Kay jewelry!
Come shop one-of-a-kind gits, decor, and more while supporting sustainability and reciprocal abundance!

Laura is the newest creative to join The Funk! and I am so excited she chose to be included and followed up with me after I dropped the ball!!
When we reconnected and she shared her treasures with me to see if they would be a good fit, I was so giddy!! She has some of the most magical treasures I have seen in my life, and I've been treasure browsing my entire life! I was honestly worried I may have to go further into debt so I can keep them all. However, I am practicing discipline and sharing, so I've put them out on the shelves for all to enjoy!
From a vintage, collectible, custom Blythe Doll and some newer version collectible Blythe Dolls to a unique collection of gnomes and mushrooms to unique wardrobe items, each piece will bring you pure joy and so does hearing their stories from Laura!
Laura is another unique, beautiful, and loving soul just doing her best to give herself and others the best life possible! As a caregiver in her daily life, a parent, a daughter, an animal lover, and source of light and love, it is such an honor to be able to share some of that love and kindness with you through these unique treasures that are so loved and cherished.
Stop by during retail hours to enjoy these wonderful treasures, request a shopping appointment, or comment on any social media post to make purchase arrangements!
Also, if you know Laura, please thank her for her and sharing her wonderful treasures!!
"Reyns - Veiled Phoenix" and I have a few things in a common, one of which is that we have loved dance and music since they first made our bodies move!
Reyns first started practicing the art of "Belly Dance" under "Gypsy", aka Paula Redi Stump Moffit in 2006, locally in Winston-Salem. Meanwhile, I was about to start my journey back in California.
Fast forward about 15 years, and we meet each other in Gypsy's class, after I first moved to Lexington, NC. Reyns immediately made me feel welcome and we quickly bonded over the variety of things we have in common as well as our unique differences!
Over the years, we have taken a variety of classes together, she has been an extremely valuable member of Shimmy Mob Team Lexington, and we have performed at multiple charitable and awareness events together!
Reyns founded "Veiled Phoenix, Dance & Wellness Coaching"
in 2023 as a fusion troupe to inspire creativity and passion for the art of belly dance!
.
No going back; no retreat; no settling for the ordinary lives we’ve been made to live every day!
Dance to the Beat of Your Own Dreams
I highly recommend registering for an upcoming Fusion Belly Dance Class, attending an upcoming performance, and/or booking her for an upcoming event!
You can also catch her performing with The Belladies and Black Fox Belly Dance in Winston-Salem and throughout North Carolina!
