Funk!sgiving 2026!!
Opportunities for More Reciprocal Abundance!!
Hello!
My name is Joylyn, with The Funk! Creative Community Center and I am extremely grateful to share another Funk!sgiving with You!
What is Funk!sgiving and why did I create it?
Some of you know some of the many experiences that I have survived and overcome, along with and despite others.
Having experienced domestic violence since age four and all of the experiences after that, it is extremely important to me to shine as much light as possible into the darkness and eliminate as many shadows as possible!
Therefore, it is with great gratitude that The Funk!, our Creative Community Members, our amazing supporters and I highlight this meaningful opportunity to share as much reciprocal abundance as possible!
You are invited to submit your most emergent needs as a non-profit organization, family, or individual.
The Funk! will match all purchases this month with a similar item of similar value to be donated to participating organizations and individuals. For example, for each sweater purchased, a sweater of equal value will be donated to an individual or organization.
Once again, this year we are working closely with United Way of Davidson County to make this operation as meaningful, efficient, and impactful as possible!
I am also extremely honored and grateful to the Lexington Area Chamber of Commerce for their abundance of support over the past two years and the opportunity to collaborate with Christian, the new President, to share this important opportunity!
Be Included!
You are invited to submit your most emergent needs as a non-profit organization, family, or individual.
